Structural/Civil Engineer

Work with a fast-paced, growth-oriented team of forensic engineers at Knott Laboratory.

Knott Laboratory is a multi-disciplinary forensic engineering firm established in 1982 in Denver, Colorado. The company launched after evaluating the Hyatt Regency walkway collapse in Kansas City, and since, Knott has evaluated more than 20,000 failure analysis cases with subsequent repairs. We work as a remote team of structural and mechanical engineers as well as forensic animators. The diversity inherent in the cause of structure and mechanical failures makes every project new and challenging. Our team’s extensive experience with failure analysis provides an incredible knowledge base most engineers are not exposed to, which can be invaluable for reconstruction designs as well as new project designs. Forensic investigations also allow our engineers to develop specialized skill sets and, in turn, we regularly present and share what we learn with clients and the greater engineering and construction community. We offer competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and flexible schedules so you can be there for your family and enjoy the Colorado lifestyle.
