Licensed Professional Land Surveyor

Knott Laboratory, LLC is seeking a full-time Licensed Professional Land Surveyor for our Construction Division in Colorado. The ideal candidate will hold a Colorado Professional Land Surveyor license and have at least 5 years of experience working independently in the field and managing multiple projects.

Knott Laboratory is a forensic engineering firm with 40 years of experience partnering with our clients to investigate building failures and deficiencies. Knott Laboratory Forensic Engineers regularly serve as expert witnesses providing prelitigation and post-litigation consulting, analysis and exhibits for depositions and jury trials.

Requirements

What you will do
The Surveyor will perform land surveys, boundary and topographical surveys, property and right-of-way determinations research and platting. The successful candidate would have experience with surveying and new construction projects as well as a collaborative approach when working with business development, engineering, and drafting teams. This is a remote position for an individual located in the Front Range area of Colorado.

What you will bring
5+ year’s experience as a Professional Licensed Surveyor in the state of Colorado; Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license, Colorado; Resident of Colorado, Front Range Area; Prior experience with surveying and construction projects; Prior experience directing and collaborating with drafting technicians; Proficient in AutoCAD; Passionate and self-motivated with the ability to work remote and balance multiple projects; Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills

Compensation
Salary: $70,000-$100,000, commensurate with experience and certifications; Matching 401(k); Company Profit Sharing Plan; Health, Dental and Vision Insurance; Paid Time and Holidays Off; Professional Development Assistance; Fieldwork: Yes; up to75% of time; Professional Development Assistance and Tuition Reimbursement up to $5k/year
