Mechanical Engineer – Senior Level

Job Duties
Apply technical knowledge to help assess and determine the cause or complex and unique problems for our clients.
Investigate and determine the cause and origin of equipment and consumer product failures.
Evaluate the safety of processes, systems and products.
Assess and reconstruct vehicle accidents.
Inspect and document failed components, vehicles and accident sites.
Review case documents and perform case research.
Use scientific tools such as Excel, MathCAD and/or Matlab to solve engineering problems.
Prepare reports of findings and conclusions and provide expert testimony in litigation as necessary.
Timely communication with clients.
Conduct research and publish technical papers.


Bachelors or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering or Physics
Ph.D. and/or P.E.
ACTAR certification a plus

Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word
Scientific/mathematical software (Excel, MathCAD, Matlab, etc.)
Coding experience a plus

Technical Knowledge
Strengths in physics, dynamics and machine design
Strength in the evaluation of system or product safety a plus
Experience in accident reconstruction or product design a plus
Experience in photography a plus
Finite element experience a plus
Human Factors experience a plus
Ability to learn industry specific simulation software
