Restoration efforts are generally focused on repairs related to insurance losses and construction deficiencies. Knott Laboratory Forensic Engineers regularly serve as expert witnesses providing prelitigation and post-litigation consulting, analysis and exhibits for depositions and jury trials.

Overview
Knott Laboratory, LLC is seeking a full-time Roof Specialist in Denver, Colorado. The Roof Specialist will work with Knott Laboratory Forensic and Insurance Divisions and will serve as a project coordinator for insurance investigations, legal, reconstruction, new construction, and restoration projects.


The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in construction management or claims adjusting , with experience conducting at least 100 roof inspections and project coordination experience including estimating and communicating with business partners. This position requires weekly onsite inspection of projects and provides flexibility for remote work (home office) for project coordination, estimating, technical writing and administrative tasks.

Qualifications
3+ years experience in construction consulting, roof inspections and technical writing; 100+ roof inspections completed; Resident of Denver, CO; Minimum 4-year B.S. required; HAAG Certification Preferred Competent with Field Inspections, Xactimate, technical writing and Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PPT); Intrinsically motivated with the ability to work remotely and balance multiple projects; Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.

Compensation
Salary: $60,000-$80,000; Job Type: Full Time; Work Remotely: Yes, Hybrid; Field Work/Project Site Visits: up to 50% of time; Matching 401(k); Company Profit Sharing Plan; Health, Dental and Vision Insurance; Paid Time and Holidays Off; Professional Development Assistance and Tuition Reimbursement up to $5k/year
