Knott Laboratory’s Ben Railsback, M.S., P.E. Provides Helpful Testimony in Complicated Brain Injury Golf Cart Case

James Johnson, Esq. commented that Mr. Railsback’s assistance was tremendously helpful in the case – not just on the stand testifying, but also in preparation for trial as well.

Congratulations to James Johnson and Aaron Hayden of the Godfrey Johnson law firm for reaching a defense verdict in a complicated brain injury case involving a plaintiff who was allegedly ejected from a maintenance (golf) cart at a local golf course.  Knott Laboratory engineer Ben Railsback, M.S., P.E. performed dynamic testing with the golf cart to determine the acceleration loading on occupants of the cart and provided testimony at trial regarding the speed and motion of the cart during the accident.  After a seven day jury trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the defendants.
