Jason M.K. Cochran, M.S., P.E. Joins Knott Laboratory as Senior Engineer

Mr. Cochran has investigated hundreds of cases involving property damage from fire, flood, moisture intrusion, inadequate drainage, corrosion, hail, wind, soil expansion and subsidence, foundation failure, structural member failure, vehicular collisions, and construction defects.


Jason CochranKnott Laboratory is please to welcome Jason M.K. Cochran, M.S., P.E. as Senior Engineer. Mr. Cochran’s experience with design and construction from conceptual stage to final implementation has given him an understanding of the design/construction process, relevant standards of care, and building code requirements enabling him to accurately identify origins of structural failures. Mr. Cochran has experience in construction scheduling enabling him to accurately identify scheduling conflicts and delay claims. At Knott Laboratory, Mr. Cochran conducts structural evaluations and failure analysis on residential and commercial structures, building envelopes and civil systems. Additionally, he has experience in destructive testing, non-destructive testing and simulation of failure modes and scenarios. Mr. Cochran provides expert witness services, as needed, on evaluations he has conducted.
