Knott Lab Selected Best Place to Work

From the CEO, Stanley Stoll, M.Eng, P.E., DFE:

Mike Lowe and I are thrilled and immensely proud to announce that Knott Laboratory has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Colorado and honored by the national Best Companies Group as a 2026 Best Place to Work in Engineering.

As we reflect on this distinguished achievement, we are filled with profound gratitude for our exceptional team members, mentors, and partners who have contributed immeasurably to our success. We also acknowledge the invaluable insights drawn from numerous authors whose works have shaped our strategic direction.

When we acquired Knott Laboratory on January 1, 2020, our vision was straightforward: to build an outstanding organization by investing deeply in our people, trusting that this commitment would drive excellence. This approach has proven effective, fostering a culture of innovation and resilience.

Our journey was tested early on, just two months after the acquisition, by the COVID-19 shutdowns. While many organizations faced difficult layoffs, we prioritized and retained every employee, reaffirming our dedication to our team amid uncertainty.

Since then, through thousands of deliberate decisions—both significant and subtle—we have achieved substantial organic growth and more than doubled our size all while upholding our core values. These awards now reflect the collective strength of Knott Laboratory, where Mike and my initial vision has evolved into a shared mission carried forward by so many throughout our organization.

We are deeply honored by this recognition and humbly pledge to continue our efforts in building an even stronger organization, pursuing greater accomplishments together. Watch out!
