Accident Reconstruction
As an ACTAR accredited accident reconstructionist, Steve has evaluated hundreds of vehicle accidents for the purpose of determining collision severity, accident causation, and crashworthiness. Given his hands on experience along with knowledge of automobiles and their mechanical systems, he is also able to address systems failures that may have caused or initiated an incident. As a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI), Steve has evaluated hundreds of fire incidents for the purpose of determining the origin and causation of fires. His certification as a Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI) complements his knowledge of automobiles allowing him to address system failures that may have caused a fire. Steve is a knowledgeable plumbing expert having evaluated hundreds of plumbing failures in both residential commercial applications. His training in photogrammetry has proved to be valuable in all his areas of expertise. Steve is a NCEES registered professional engineer licensed in the state of Colorado.
