Mr. Pierce graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During his undergraduate studies, he worked three co-op sessions with the Dow Chemical Company in Agrosciences, light hydrocarbons, and manufacturing of reverse osmosis elements. While in school, he participated in Engineers for a Sustainable World working with a team to design a water harvesting and solar water heating system for a hospital in Kenya.

Engineering and Design

Before starting his career in forensic engineering, Mr. Pierce worked in engineering research and product development for one year. Mr. Pierce joined Knott Laboratory, LLC with experience in premise liability, environmental, vehicle accident reconstruction, and product liability case work. Since working at Knott Laboratory, Mr. Pierce has worked on dozens of vehicle accident reconstruction and product liability cases. He utilizes the latest technologies and software in his reconstruction investigations. Mr. Pierce is a NCEES registered professional engineer licensed in the States of California and Texas.
