Stanley Stoll, CEO leads NCSEA Subcommittee

For the first time, the National Council of Structural Engineers Association (NCSEA) is presented a special pre-conference symposium at this year’s Structural Engineering Summit focused on building assessment.

Knott Laboratory CEO, Stanley Stoll, is co-chair of the Building Assessments Subcommittee and lead the symposium.

As states pass new regulations and new code guidelines are released, the evaluation of existing buildings is more important than ever. This summit was designed to equip engineers with the knowledge and skills necessary to take the lead on building assessment projects and to advance the structural profession while protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public.

During the symposium, the NCSEA will be introduced a webinar series, now available, to improve the skills and confidence of structural engineers who assess existing buildings, especially after the Surfside collapse.
