The Effect Of Variables On Vehicular Accident Reconstruction

Richard M. Ziernicki

There are a number of publications discussing the mathematical theory, sources of data, and accuracy of the EDCRASH computer program for vehicular accident reconstruction.

In this paper, the author discusses the use of the EDCRASH program based on the author’s experience in identifying how the program can be, and has been misused.

This discussion should be of value to engineers seeking to avoid mistakes, and to attorneys seeking to find them.
