Engineering and Design

Mr. Beck spent the first four years of his professional career in residential construction management. During this time, he oversaw the successful completion of hundreds of new home construction projects across Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. This invaluable experience served as the springboard for his transition into engineering. His engineering approach is deeply rooted in practicality and value engineering, ensuring that his clients receive the most efficient and cost-effective solutions. His clientele includes homebuyers, homeowners' associations, and contractors. As a Forensic and Structural Engineer, he has played a pivotal role in inspecting and designing numerous projects involving retaining walls, buildings, foundations, and drainage systems in Georgia and the Carolinas. His engineering prowess extends to various project types, including single-family homes, multi-family dwellings, and industrial structures, with a focus on concrete, steel, and wood. His specialization in wood design is particularly noteworthy, encompassing a wide range of elements such as roof and floor truss systems, wood I-beams, columns, simple beams, bearing walls, decks, balconies, and connection details.
