Mark Kinghorn, B.Arch, AIA

Mr. Kinghorn has broad experience in all aspects of Architecture and General Construction with extensive experience with forensic evaluation in restoration construction requirements for water, fire, roofing, mold, losses. Experience and knowledge also extends to Title Research, CADD, GIS Mapping, 3D modeling, Animations, Computer Graphics, Public Speaking, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Design.

Mr. Kinghorn has experience as an Architectural Consultant, Design-Builder, and Construction Manager to consult and oversee projects including acquisition, property documentation, planning, budgeting, negotiations, design, construction documents, written specifications, cost estimating, project management, construction administration, progress payment reports, problem solving mediation, and project close out.

As a project manager for a large restoration contractor, he functioned as a General Contractor for many restoration construction projects. Mr. Kinghorn oversaw more than 130 projects that included the restoration of properties for water, fire, mold, asbestos, roofing projects and structural damage and repairs from expansive soils and differential foundation movement. Mr. Kinghorn’s responsibilities included, estimating the project and negotiating costs with the insurance companies, obtaining estimates and qualifying sub-contractors, contracting and managing the sub-contractors and the clients throughout the project. Mr. Kinghorn also permitted the projects through multiple building departments and then performed the overall inspections, quality control, project closeout and settling project payments
