Overview
Knott Laboratory, LLC is seeking a full-time Accident Reconstructionist in Phoenix, Arizona. Knott Laboratory is a forensic engineering firm with 40 years of experience partnering with our clients to investigate accidents and injuries and identify ways to prevent them. Our Accident Reconstructionists and Forensic Engineers serve as expert witnesses providing analysis and exhibits for depositions and jury trials.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years’ experience in Accident Reconstruction. Candidates with state patrol experience or a mechanical engineering background will be considered. The successful candidate will have experience with investigating motor vehicle crash scenes, vehicle inspection, workplace injuries, bodily injuries, fatal injuries, felony charges, officer involved shooting, EDR analysis, dash cam review, surveillance video footage and others. Candidates must possess excellent technical writing skills and be detail oriented. This is a hybrid position for an individual located in Phoenix.
Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Accident Reconstructionist for State Patrol or as a Professional Engineer P.E.
- Professional Engineer in Arizona, or PE licensure elsewhere and the ability to obtain Arizona PE
- ACTAR Accreditation required
- Resident of Phoenix, AZ
- Passionate and self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and balance multiple projects
- Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills

- Salary: $100,000-130,000, commensurate with experience and certifications
