Knott Laboratory Forensic Engineers regularly serve as expert witnesses providing prelitigation and post-litigation consulting, analysis and exhibits for depositions and jury trials.

Requirements
What you will do
Knott Laboratory, LLC is seeking a full-time Licensed Professional Land Surveyor, PLS, in the Denver Metro or Front Range area in Colorado. The Professional Land Surveyor, PLS, will perform boundary and topographical surveys, legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easements and right-of-way, research, and subdivision platting. The successful candidate will have experience with surveying and partnering with multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, drafting and business development.
What you will bring
- 5+ years’ experience as a Professional Licensed Surveyor, PLS
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Colorado, required
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure during employment with Knott Laboratory
- Resident of the Front Range area, Colorado
- Knowledgeable with professional survey standards, codes, and survey related procedures
- Prior experience directing drafting technicians and proficiency in AutoCAD
- Project management experience and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders including clients, peers, and junior staff
- Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and balance multiple projects
- Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills
- Colorado Driver’s license and driving record which meets KL Safety Program requirements

- Salary: 80k-120k, commensurate with experience and licensure
